In The Mix Monday--Nonfiction

Label your books for your guestroom as fiction, nonfiction or favorite.

This week on Wednesday, Ladies Holiday is bringing you another book blog hop. The theme this week is non fiction.  There are many different kinds of non fiction books, biographies, history, books about nature, pets, spiritual growth, astronomy, you name it it's out there.

My favorite non fiction books are the kind that you can learn something from, that make your life a little better for having read it.  Books that have a deeper meaning or that teach you about someone you admire.  Books like "Soul Surfer", the story of Bethany Hamilton.  How she over came her biggest challenge. She never lost faith and came out better and stronger for it.  She inspires millions every day.

I'm currently listening to "Wishes Fulfilled" by Wayne Dyer.  A book filled with inspiration on how we can over come our own challanges and live a better life.  I would also like to read a biography on Walt Disney.  I love his imagination and determination to never give up on his dream.  These types of wonderful true stories can help you keep going when you feel like giving up.

Another of my favorites is "The Power" by Rhonda Byrne, it's a very uplifting, easy read.  It really opened my eyes to the power of love and positivity.  I just found out about a new book of her's called "The Magic" and I can't wait to read it.

My favorite place to read is all curled up on my bed with some comfy pillows and blankets.  I love to read before bed but find that it can't be anything too stimulating or else I can't stop thinking about it.

What are your favorite non fiction books, where and when do you enjoy reading?  Please share.
